Hotel and resort sites in Telangana — particularly district eco-tourism and resort destinations — often require conversion from agricultural or non-commercial zoning to tourism-designated use. Telangana Tourism Policy 2025–30 provides land conversion charge waivers or reimbursement for registered projects.

Complete the conversion process through the tourism department before commencing construction. Unconverted land use is a common reason for incentive claim rejection.
