MSME vs large project classification
Andhra Pradesh Tourism Policy 2024–29 distinguishes MSME tourism projects from large and mega developments. MSME-classified units receive 25% capital investment subsidy on eligible FCI — significantly higher than the 10% rate for large projects above MSME thresholds.
Boutique hotels, homestays, eco-lodges, and smaller resort projects often fit MSME classification, making AP particularly attractive for mid-scale hospitality investments outside the mega-project tier.
