Stamp duty exemption scope
Karnataka Tourism Policy 2024–29 exempts stamp duty and registration charges on land sale and lease documents for registered tourism projects. Loan document registration for project finance also qualifies for exemption.
Unlike Gujarat's reimbursement model, Karnataka provides upfront exemption — reducing cash outlay at land acquisition. Apply through the Department of Tourism before executing the land transaction.
